Gunther Rall was one of the leading fighter pilots in Germany’s Luftwaffe during WWII and the third most successful fighter ace in history. Rall fought in the invasion of France, the Battle of Britain, the Balkan campaign, and over Crete. Highly decorated, he flew a total of 621 combat missions, was shot down eight times, wounded three times, and had 275 aerial victories, 272 on the Eastern Front of which 241 were against Soviet fighters. This replica Mahogany Model is hand-crafted after the Bf-109G Black 13 in which Gunther scored most of his victories. Includes an extra propeller and a wooden display stand with brass plague. Measures about 8”l with an 11” wingspan.
